Quilt Patches

This stamp set is probably over 10 years old and when I was going through my Christmas stamp sets I decided to bring this out and work with it. The images are very country quilt looking to me. Each image was stamped twice so that I could cut out the main image and attach it with dimensionals to the squares. The squares were cut out and attached to a scallop square and then the cut out image was attached with dimensionals. The buttons were threaded with linen thread and attached with mini glue dots. Once all the coloring and piecing was completed this card came together fairly quickly with the help of a sketch challenge from Splitcoast Stampers (SC285).

Supplies Used: Paper: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Merry Moments DSP; Ink: Black, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Creamy Caramel; Stamps: Winter Patches; Other: Buttons, Linen Thread, Chocolate Chip Felt Ribbon, 1 1/4" Square Scallop Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Paper Piercing Tool w/Mat, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals
