Grad Money Holder Card

This is a quick and easy card for any graduate but especially for the guys. To create the money holder start with a piece of whisper white card stock that measured 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score the along the 8 1/2" length at 2 1/2" and again at 5 1/2" which leaves you with a 3" card front. Fold along the score lines and fold the 2 1/2" section to the inside and adhere the ends only to create a pocket for money or a check. Fold the 3" section to the front and embellish as desired. I chose the school colors (purple and gold) to embellish the card front. I embossed a piece of concord crush card stock using the square lattice embossing folder and attached it to the card front and then attached a piece of crushed curry card stock across the middle to adhere my foam letters to. The mortar board was created using the small oval punch trimmed and a length of embroidery floss was strung to create a tassel and then attached to the card front with a dimensional.

Supplies Used: Paper: Whisper White, Concord Crush, Crushed Curry; Other: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Small Oval Punch, Paper Snips, Foam Letters, Embroidery Floss, Dimensionals
