Cherry Buttons

I saw this card and tutorial here and I thought it was so clever and creative I had to try it. I did change a couple of things but kept the same basic layout. I love how the scallop circle opens to reveal the sentiment. I want to try this same card with other stamps and see what I can create.

Lucky Duck

I needed a card for a co-worker who will be starting a new job. She will be staying with the company but just moving to a new position. I've always loved this duck image from the stamp set "Wagon Full of Fun" and thought it would be fun to incorporate the image with the saying for someone starting a new job.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Wagon Full of Fun
Paper: Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Petals and Paisleys DSP
Ink: Black, SU Markers
Accessories: Frost White Shimmer Mist, 5 Petal Flower Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Rhinestone Brad, Brads, Dimensionals

Snowflakes are Falling

In keeping with my New Year's resolution I actually made some Christmas cards. I used the stamp set "Winter is Calling" for these cards. The stamp set was only available in the 2003 Winter Mini Catalog and fortunately my sister owns the set so I was able to borrow it to create these cards. I made 4 of the same card I just changed the colors.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Winter is Calling
Paper: Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Real Red, Soft Sky, Soft Sky DSP
Ink: Black, Various SU Markers
Accessories: Oval and Scalloped Oval Nestabilities Dies, Petals a Plenty or Snow Burst Embossing Folders, Frost White Shimmer Mist, White Flock, 2-Way Glue Pen, Glitter Pen, Mini Glue Dots, Ribbon, Dimensionals

Pink Passion with Only Orange

Normally I wouldn't consider putting pink passion and only orange together on a card but I found this DSP called Sassy and those were the colors so I went with it. I'm still utilizing some of the items that I still have but have long been discontinued but I did pair it with a more recent stamp set.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Punched Posies, Best Dad Ever, Sweet Spot
Paper: Whisper White, Pink Passion, Only Orange, Sassy DSP
Ink: Pink Passion, Only Orange
Accessories: 1/2" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals
